NLRB Ordered To Revisit Union Claims Against Allied

Law360, New York (April 3, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has partially granted the United Steelworkers union's request for review of a National Labor Relations Board decision that reversed a ruling against Allied Mechanical in a long-running labor dispute.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ordered the NLRB to reconsider its decision that Allied's suspension and termination of a prounion employee did not constitute an unfair labor practice under the National Labor Relations Act.
