FTC Wins Injunction In Fla. Invention-Promotion Scam Suit

Law360, Miami (August 17, 2017, 5:17 PM EDT) -- The Federal Trade Commission won a preliminary injunction Wednesday against the operators of an invention-promotion company that allegedly duped consumers out of about $26 million, as the judge found proof of material misrepresentations and a likelihood the government will prevail on the merits.
