Lowenstein Demands Payment From Ascendia

Law360 (April 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Lowenstein Sandler PC has moved for an order compelling Ascendia Brands Inc., a bankrupt health and beauty products manufacturer, to pay it about $65,000 for work it did concerning the debtors' intellectual property.

According to Lowenstein Sandler's motion, filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Ascendia has paid three invoices totaling more than $76,000. But the company has allegedly not paid other invoices totaling $55,366.37 in fees and $9,531.57 in expenses.
