3 Law Firms With Their Own Riff On The Mansfield Rule

Law360, New York (August 29, 2017, 11:51 AM EDT) -- Nearly 50 law firms have adopted the Mansfield Rule in an effort to improve diversity, but a few firms have decided to go rogue and implement their own versions of the rule.

While 44 firms have now signed on to the Mansfield Rule — named after Arabella Mansfield, the first woman admitted to the practice of law in the United States — a number of others are playing with the concept and tweaking it for their own purposes to align with their individual goals.
