Former CSK Execs Face Charges Over False Reports

Law360, New York (April 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two former executives of auto parts retailer CSK Auto Corp. have been indicted for allegedly conspiring to manipulate the company's earnings reports, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Wednesday.

The 31-count indictment, returned Tuesday by a grand jury in Phoenix, charges former senior officers Martin G. Fraser and Don W. Watson with conspiracy; securities fraud; mail fraud; false filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission; and filing false books, records and statements to its auditor, according to the DOJ.
