Law360, New York (September 8, 2017, 3:04 PM EDT) -- In August 2017, the U.S. Department of Energy released the Staff Report to the Secretary on Electricity Markets and Reliability. This DOE report seeks to consider past and current trends in the electric industry in an effort to “exercise foresight to help ensure a system that is reliable, resilient, and affordable long into the future.”
