E.U. Renews Opposition To Blocking Takeovers

Law360, New York (September 6, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As the French parliament prepares to debate an energy bill that will decide whether the proposed Gaz de France-Suez merger goes through, the European Commission has once again come out against the blocking of takeovers by a government.
