A New Code Of Conduct For Health Care Industry

Law360 (April 15, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The current economic, political and social environment has fostered a growing awareness of the importance of organizational compliance and ethics programs.

Increasingly, organizations have been subject to federal compliance requirements by way of well-known legislation including the Sarbanes Oxley Act, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines for Organizations.

State regulations are also now moving in the direction of mandating specific ethics and compliance programs.
