Insurer Off Hook For Fuel Leak At College: Court

Law360, New York (April 16, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Washington state appeals court has affirmed a trial court's judgment that Ohio Casualty Insurance Co. is not required to pay remediation costs associated with property damage and the cleanup from a leaky 10,000-gallon fuel tank at Walla Walla University.

There is no genuine issue of material fact indicating the property damage at the school occurred during the policy periods, the Court of Appeals for the State of Washington ruled Tuesday.
