US, Mexico Plan Cooperation On Green Issues

Law360, New York (April 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- President Obama and Mexican President Felipe Calderon have announced plans for their countries to work together on a range of issues related to clean energy and climate change, including reducing carbon emissions and creating green jobs.

In a joint press conference Friday in Mexico City, Calderon said that “we have agreed to work together in order to guarantee a legal framework of certainty, transparency for the future and better use of cross-border resources such as gas and energy.”
