Experts See Ways To Impeach 'Torture Judge'

Law360, New York (April 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- With the release Thursday of four more memos authorizing torture in interrogations of detainees suspected of terrorism under the Bush administration, calls for an investigation into the impeachment of one of the authors, Judge Jay S. Bybee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, have begun anew.

Bybee signed off on specific torture methods proposed by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency in a 2002 memo that the Obama administration released Thursday, along with three others by one of Bybee's successors, Steven G. Bradbury....
