Massey's Suit Over $244M Verdict Stayed

Law360, New York (April 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Favoring a parallel action under way in Virginia state court, a federal judge has stayed Massey Energy Co.'s lawsuit against a clutch of insurers who refuse to reimburse Massey for any of the $244 million it paid in damages over a contract dispute.
