Honeywell Forced To Settle With Dow In Patent Spat

Law360 (April 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has mostly granted a request from a subsidiary of Dow Chemical Co. to enforce a disputed settlement with Honeywell International Inc. of the Dow unit's infringement case over patents covering a type of resin binder.

Judge Gregory M. Sleet in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on Thursday affirmed Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials Co.'s motion to adopt an agreement dating back to July 2007, and ordered the parties to move to dismiss the case.
