Bryan Cave And BLP Talk Transatlantic Law Firm Merger

Law360, Grand Rapids (October 16, 2017, 1:20 PM EDT) -- Another big transatlantic law firm merger is in the works, with U.K.-headquartered Berwin Leighton Paisner and U.S.-based Bryan Cave LLP confirming Monday they are discussing a possible combination to form a 1,500-lawyer global firm.

The merger would create a fully integrated law firm with 32 offices in 12 countries, combining Bryan Cave’s approximately 900 lawyers with BLP’s roughly 600, the firms said.
