Former FERC Commissioners Slam Perry's Grid Pricing Plan

Law360, New York (October 19, 2017, 4:45 PM EDT) -- Eight former commissioners of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, including five ex-chairs, on Thursday panned Secretary of Energy Rick Perry's proposal to pay coal and nuclear plants for providing base load power and grid reliability services, saying it would reverse the development of wholesale electricity markets and soak consumers.
