7 Firms To Guide IPOs Topping $2.1B As October Heats Up

Law360, New York (October 20, 2017, 6:25 PM EDT) -- Seven firms will guide six initial public offerings expected to raise more than $2.1 billion during the week of Oct. 23, extending a recent burst of activity that is putting October on pace to be the busiest month for deals since April.

The coming week's lineup is led by an energy partnership formed by British oil giant BP, followed by a Latin American miner, a private-equity-backed retailer, a venture-backed technology "unicorn," a biotechnology firm and a bank. If all companies price, that will raise October's output to 17 IPOs, the most in one month since 19 companies priced deals in April....
