Coalbed Methane Cos. Need Water Permit: Colo. Court

Law360, New York (April 20, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Colorado Supreme Court handed landowners in one of the biggest coalbed methane-producing counties in the U.S. a victory on Monday, ruling that CBM wells must obtain a groundwater permit and comply with state groundwater regulations in the CBM extraction process.
