ClearOne Trade Secrets Award Trimmed To $9.7M

Law360, New York (April 21, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has cut a jury award for audio and video company ClearOne Communications Inc. to about $9.7 million in a case alleging that former ClearOne employees stole trade secrets related to audio-conferencing technology.

The order, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Utah, resolves several motions filed after a jury awarded ClearOne approximately $10.5 million in November.
