Law360, Wilmington (November 2, 2017, 8:53 PM EDT) -- A trustee for the Chapter 7 estate of former e-cigarette maker NJOY Inc. told a Delaware bankruptcy judge on Thursday that talks are under way on the mediation of disputes over disposal of the defunct company’s abandoned products — now branded as hazardous waste.
Mark E. Felger of Cozen O’Connor, counsel to NJOY trustee Jeffrey L. Burtch, told Judge Christopher S. Sontchi that the mediation talk surfaced in recent days, after the Indiana Department of Environmental Management filed documents supporting the concerns of Jacobson Warehouse Co. Inc. about hundreds of pallets of e-smokes stranded by the proceeding.
