Lindows To Relaunch As "Lin---s"

Law360, New York (February 19, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Lindows.com said it plans to re-launch as “Lin---s” in countries where Microsoft has successfully barred the sale of the Linux software platform over a trademark dispute.

The dispute dates back to December 2001 when Microsoft filed a trade mark suit in the US seeking to prevent Lindows.com from using the terms LindowsOS and Lindows.com, arguing that they infringe on its rights in Windows.
