'Lubricious' Glass Sex Toy Patent Obvious: Fed Circ.

Law360, New York (April 24, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An adult novelty business claiming it is “redefining passion” won't have to stop selling its glass sex toys, an appellate court has determined, reversing a lower court's decision and finding that a rival's patent for the slippery sex devices isn't valid because of obviousness.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Friday reversed a lower court's ruling that redefiner of passion Topco Sales had infringed a patent owned by the operators of sex-aid competitor Know Mind Enterprises.
