Bill Aims To Boost BEACH Grants, Water Standards

Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., has proposed doubling grant funding and increasing water quality standards for local and state governments in coastal states working with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to ramp up pollution monitoring and notification systems for public beaches.
