Enviro Group Sues EPA To Get Libby Cleanup Report

Law360, New York (April 24, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An environmental nonprofit has launched a suit against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, seeking to compel the agency to release a report on the cleanup of the site of a massive asbestos contamination that killed 200 people.

Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Tuesday after repeated requests for the report on the Libby, Mont., site were denied, the group said.
