Ex-LG Exec Pleads Guilty In TFT-LCD Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (April 27, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Korean executive of LG Display Co. Ltd. has agreed to plead guilty and serve a year behind bars for his role in an alleged price-fixing scheme in the sale of thin film transistor liquid crystal display panels, the U.S. Department of Justice said Monday.

The plea agreement reached with Bock Kwon calls for the former president of LG’s Taiwan subsidiary to serve a year in prison and pay a $30,000 fine, the DOJ said.
