Enviro Group Sues EPA For 'Stonewalling' On Pruitt Speeches

Law360, New York (December 4, 2017, 9:47 PM EST) -- An environmental group filed suit against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Monday accusing it of breaching a deadline to hand over copies of speeches given by Administrator Scott Pruitt, arguing that the government’s inaction violated public records law.

The Environmental Integrity Project’s lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia said by now it should have received documents from its Oct. 24 Freedom of Information Act request. The request asked for “both public speeches and speeches given to third parties” by Pruitt. The...
