Ore. LNG Project's Enviro Problems Fixable: FERC

Law360, New York (May 1, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has determined that a proposed liquefied natural gas terminal and an associated pipeline in Oregon would have some adverse environmental impacts but that most of the problems can be resolved through certain mitigation measures.

The commission issued its final environmental impact statement on Friday for Jordan Cove Energy Project LP’s proposed LNG import terminal and the related sendout gas pipeline by Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline LP.
