The Healthy Families Act Revisited

Law360, New York (May 4, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- On March 15, 2007, Senate Bill 910, dubbed “The Healthy Families Act,” was introduced by Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass. Under the Bush administration the bill had little forward momentum and was basically stalled.

In May 2009, the Healthy Families Act is expected to be reintroduced in the U.S. Congress. This will be the first time that the federal government has taken up this piece of legislation since the election of Barack Obama.
