Lawyers Head To JPMorgan Conference Eager To Spark Deals

By Tom Zanki (January 5, 2018, 7:14 PM EST) -- The JPMorgan Healthcare Conference — an annual shindig in San Francisco that links capital-hungry biotech executives with bankers, lawyers and investors eager to do business — launches Monday under a more certain deals climate compared with recent years, lawyers say.

JPMorgan estimates some 8,000 people and 400 companies will attend the conference at Westin St. Francis Hotel, a weeklong networking event that typically serves as a jumping-off point for capital markets and mergers and acquisitions activity that follows during the year.
