AFA Bid To Block Virgin America Crashes In DC Circ.

Law360, New York (May 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has rejected a challenge brought by the Association of Flight Attendants over a decision by the U.S. Department of Transportation to certify Virgin America Inc. as an air carrier.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit on Friday shot down the flight attendant union's protest, ruling that the AFA had no standing to pursue its petition for review of the agency's decision.
