Insurer Slams Patriot National Ch. 11 Disclosure Omission

Law360 (March 1, 2018, 7:59 PM EST) -- A New York-based specialty insurer objected Thursday to the bankruptcy disclosure filed by insurance service provider Patriot National Inc., saying the document ignores its potential claims in a 2-year-old, wide-ranging fraud and damages suit.

Aspen Specialty Insurance Co. said its Pennsylvania lawsuit sought undoing of policies as well as awards of damages and costs incurred through alleged fraud, misrepresentations, concealment and other actions by Patriot affiliate Hospitality Supportive Systems LLC and other allied businesses.
