Bankrupt Global Aviation Gets Nod For $13M Unit Sale

Law360, Wilmington (May 28, 2014, 7:36 PM EDT) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Wednesday gave Global Aviation Holdings Inc. the green light to sell its remaining operating line to Omni Air International Inc., blessing a deal that could bring the charter air service provider as much as $13 million.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Mary F. Walrath signed off on Omni's proposed purchase of North American Airlines Inc. after overruling a limited creditor objection, finding the deal merited approval based on Global Aviation's submissions to the court and the lack of any other opposition.
