New Lawsuits Target Bayou Investors

Law360 (July 6, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former investors in insolvent hedge fund Bayou Group will soon have to defend themselves in court, after receivers for the now-defunct fund filed 25 lawsuits seeking to redistribute proceeds paid to investors before the group’s collapse.

The lawsuits seek a full recovery of all funds paid to investors in order to distribute them more equitably among creditors and investors.
