Wall Street Giants Urge SEC To Take On Exchange Fees

Law360, New York (December 7, 2017, 5:29 PM EST) -- Wall Street’s battle against the fees that stock exchange operators charge for market data took a new turn on Thursday when some of the biggest firms asked the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to take a hard look at the issue and pass new disclosure rules that would force the exchanges to tell traders more about what they’re collecting and why.
