    Persels Can't Defeat Predatory Debt Relief Suit On Remand

    After the Eleventh Circuit upended a settlement in a class action targeting law firm Persels & Associates LLC and others over allegedly predatory debt settlement programs, a Florida federal judge on Friday denied a motion to dismiss by Persels, ruling that the court's jurisdiction extends to the firm.
