Workers Settle Claims With Recruiter, Atty In Trafficking Suit
A Louisiana federal judge on Wednesday granted a request by Indian workers to withdraw their bid for $5.1 million in attorneys' fees from a recruiter and immigration attorney accused of breaking promises of green cards in a human trafficking scheme, a day after the workers said they reached a settlement.
