    A California federal judge on Friday ordered the Alzheimer's Institute of America to pay Eli Lilly and Elan Pharmaceuticals roughly $8 million in attorneys' fees after losing a suit backed by an "ego and greed" driven scheme to misrepresent the true owner of a patent covering Alzheimer's detection.
