    A California pension plan failed Thursday to secure $4 million in attorneys’ fees and costs for Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP from a fight with Bank of New York Mellon Corp. over certain Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. investments that ended in a muted $630,000 settlement.
