Nike Can't Outrun 'Don't Tread On Me' Trademark Suit
A California federal judge on Wednesday refused Nike Inc.'s bid to toss clothing company Bauer Brothers LLC's recently revived lawsuit accusing the apparel giant of infringing trademarks for the phrases "Don't Tread on Me" and "DTOM," which Nike used as part of a U.S. Men's National Soccer Team campaign.

Nike Trounces Clothing Co.'s IP Suit By Showing First Use
Nike Inc. on Thursday beat allegations it infringed a clothing company's trademarks by using them in a promotion for the U.S. men's soccer team after a California federal judge found that Nike had first used the disputed slogan and that the marks were therefore invalid.
