Smithfield Settles With 1,500 Workers Over Donning, Doffing
Smithfield Packing Co. Inc. on Monday agreed to pay about 1,500 employees back wages to settle a pair of overtime suits from classes of North Carolina workers who claim they weren't paid for time spent donning and doffing equipment.
