Taco Bell Corp. has reached a $2.5 million settlement of a collective action alleging the company wrongly categorized assistant general managers as supervisors and denied them overtime pay, according to a joint motion filed in Colorado federal court Monday.

A magistrate judge in Colorado on Tuesday denied for the second time a Taco Bell Corp. bid to send to arbitration a putative class action accusing the fast food chain of failing to pay assistant general managers overtime.
