A federal appeals court has reaffirmed a jury's verdict against Mayflower Capital fund manager Brent Earl Wood, who was convicted of conspiring to swindle investors out of $15 million but saw a district judge vacate the verdict, acquit him and conditionally grant a new trial if the acquittal was overturned.
