Kolcraft Fights To Keep $3.2M Playpen Verdict Against Chicco
Kolcraft Enterprises has slammed Chicco USA Inc.'s attempt to get a new trial in Illinois federal court and avoid a $3.2 million decision over a playpen patent, calling Chicco's motion a "kitchen sink assault" that largely reiterates arguments the court has already rejected.

Jury Awards Kolcraft $3.2M Win In Playpen Patent Suit
After nearly a decade of litigation, an Illinois federal jury found Friday that a baby playpen made by Chicco USA Inc. infringed five claims of one of rival Kolcraft Enterprises Inc.'s patents and awarded it $3.2 million in damages, according to Kolcraft's attorney.
