The oil and gas trade group Western Energy Alliance and three energy companies on Monday appealed a Wyoming federal court ruling ordering the U.S. Department of the Interior to take action on oil and gas drilling leases within 60 days.

A federal judge in Wyoming on Wednesday ordered the U.S. Department of the Interior to accept or reject oil and gas drilling leases within 60 days, in a partial win for industry groups and energy companies that launched a suit over delayed leases.
