Navajo Nation, Utilities End Coal Lease Suit For $65M
Peabody Energy Inc., Southern California Edison Co. and an Arizona utility have reached a $65 million settlement with the Navajo Nation in a 12-year-old suit in Washington federal court over coal mining royalties, an attorney for the tribe said Monday.
