Sodexo Inc. and Service Employees International Union said Thursday they had settled a lawsuit by the food service giant accusing the labor group of engaging in illegal tactics in its attempts to recruit Sodexo employees.

A Virginia federal judge on Tuesday blocked an attempt by the Service Employees International Union to scuttle a suit brought by food services company Sodexo Inc. alleging the labor union engaged in illegal tactics in its attempts to recruit Sodexo employees.
