Apple Inc., Microsoft Corp., Adobe Systems Inc. and Nuance Communications Inc. on Wednesday settled search result patent claims launched by Texas OCR Technologies LLC and are asking a judge to dismiss them from the suit.

Texas OCR Technologies LLC filed a suit on Friday in Texas accusing Apple Inc., Microsoft Corp., Google Inc. and others of infringing a patent related to displaying search results using character recognition.
