A California federal jury found that Medtronic Inc. owed Pabban Development Inc. $15.4 million for breaking the terms of its deal to acquire Pabban's spinal cement device, shutting down Medtronic's claims that it had withheld payments because the device was faulty.

Medtronic Inc. delivered closing arguments Wednesday in its breach of contract trial with Pabban Development Inc., telling a California federal jury that Pabban owes it at least $33 million for hiding defects in a spinal cement device to wrap up its sale to Medtronic.
