Gellyfish Technology of Texas LLC has mostly abandoned its Texas suit claiming Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Sony Corp., Verizon Wireless and more than a dozen others infringed a patent covering keyboard technology for portable devices, according to documents made public Monday.

Gellyfish Technology of Texas LLC launched a suit Wednesday accusing AT&T Mobility LLC, Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Sony Corp., Hewlett-Packard Co. and more than a dozen others of infringing a patent that covers keyboard technology for portable devices.
