AES Thames To Liquidate After Asset Sale Collapses
A bankruptcy judge on Monday approved the liquidation of AES Thames LLC after a proposed buyer of the Connecticut power plant operator's assets could not reach a lease extension or modification on the property and missed a deadline for closing the sale.

Bankrupt AES Thames Settles $300M Utility Claims
A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Thursday cleared a settlement resolving $300 million in contract claims that a utility lodged against AES Thames LLC, removing the last major hurdle to the power plant operator's bid to sell its assets under court protection.
