A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Monday lifted a stay that had put a stop to a Lanham Act false advertising fight between rival tax preparers Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. and H&R Block Inc., the same day the judge confirmed Jackson Hewitt's plan to exit Chapter 11.

A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Friday allowed Maryland to appeal a decision that put Jackson Hewitt Tax Services Inc. outside the reach of the state's lending laws, finding that the appeal did not violate the automatic stay in the tax preparer's Chapter 11 case.
